IMG_6739-EditKing Farms Trucking has been in business since 2003.  We have built our business around excellent customer service, reliability, and outstanding performance.  We are a nationwide company with our major lanes of service being to and from the West Coast, Arizona and the Pacific Northwest.

We operate trucks that are three years old or newer and trailers that are four years old or newer.  Our trailers are all 53-foot air-ride reefers.

We hire only experienced drivers and we have a very low turnover rate.  We treat our drivers with respect and provide them with up-to-date, reliable and attractive equipment.  We try very hard to allow our drivers some home time every week.

Our dispatch department is top-notch.  The dispatchers work very hard to keep our equipment full and rolling at all times.  We have dispatch capability 24 hours a day.

We have an excellent safety record.  We have zero workers compensation claims in the last three years.  We have been insured with Great West Casualty Company for several years with great rates because of our excellent record. Our agent is Beehive Insurance.

Our office staff works as a team to deliver the best service possible to our customers.  Our management team consists of the following individuals.

Brandt KingOwner
Our Manager/Owner is Brandt N. King. He has been in the trucking industry for 16 years. He has excellent customer service skills—always putting the needs of the customer and his employees first. He has a beautiful wife and four children, and outside of work, he supports his children’s activities, enjoys helping on his father’s farm, hunting, four-wheeling and other outdoor activities. He encourages his employees to work safely and within the trucking industry standards.
Lee AkinDispatch & Load Planner
Lee Akin is our East Coast and local dispatcher. He has 25 years of experience in the trucking industry. He spent 21 years driving OTR and has been dispatching for the past 4 years. He came to work for King Farms in April of 2009 as a OTR driver then started dispatching for us in March of 2012. He has been to every location we service on the East coast as well as the West coast. His knowledge of the trucking industry and our customers is very valuable to our drivers.
David AndersonDispatch & Load Planner
Dave Anderson is our West Coast and Outbound load planner. He has 15 yrs OTR experience and has been to nearly every location we service.
He has been dispatching for our company for 3 yrs. The time he spent out on the road has given him plenty of insight as to what our drivers encounter on a day to day basis. This has allowed him to be efficient with his load planning and that has not only benefited our company and drivers but our customers as well.
Tammy ThompsonCustomer Service & Scheduling Manager
Tammy Thompson is our Customer Service/ Scheduling Manager. She has 30 yrs of Customer Service experience behind her . She is very committed to forming and keeping positive relationships with our Customers and Drivers. She has been involved in the trucking industry for 18 yrs, as the wife of a driver, previous Owner Operator and current position with our company for the past 5 yrs. This experience has enabled her to be understanding and knowledgeable to the needs of our customers as well as the drivers.
Shana SivaAccounting Manager
Shana Siva has been with our company for almost 4 years and has mastered all areas of office operations. Her versatility and dedication to getting the job done has proven to be of extreme value to our growing company. She continues to gain knowledge of the ever changing trucking industry and has proven to be a great asset to our team.
Suzie ButtersBilling Manager
Suzie Buttars has been with our company for 5yrs. She has plenty of experience with billing procedures that she gained while working for ATK and also Autoliv. She has continually learned and applied new billing programs, that have proven to be more efficient and cost effective. This has been a real benefit to our customers and our company. She takes pride in making sure that our customers are billed timely and accurately.
Rich WilkinsSafety Manager
Rich Wilkins spent 35 years in Law Enforcement. Ten years as a Box Elder County Deputy Sheriff and 25 years as a Trooper with the Utah Highway Patrol. The last 15 years, he was assigned to the Motor Carrier Safety Section of the UHP. He was certified as a Hazmat Technician and was a member of the state hazardous materials team for 4 years. He was certified to conduct level’s 1-5 federal inspections as well as motor coach, bulk and non-bulk hazmat inspections. He was an associate staff member for the FMCSA and certified law enforcement personnel across the U.S. to conduct driver only inspections. Rich is an important asset to our company as the industry is going towards ELD’s. He is focused on making us a safe and compliant company. He also helps our drivers to be among the safest on the road.
Brian GledhillLogistics Manager - Brokerage Department
Brian Gledhill has 19 year’s experience in the transportation industry. His knowledge of safety, dispatch, rate negotiations, and 3pl, make him a valuable asset to our customers and carrier partners.
Jordan ThompsonOutwest Warehouse Manager
Jordan’s previous warehouse experience has proven to be very beneficial to our company. He has great organizational skills and a real drive to make the Warehouse run smoothly and efficiently. He puts a lot of energy into every task he faces, and takes pride in a job well done. Growing up around the trucking industry has given Jordan first hand experience of what transpires in shipping and receiving. This experience has been very valuable to our Company and to our Customers.
